Jess is a registered nurse and midwife who completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2014. She gained extensive experience in the perinatal management of high-risk pregnancies  while working as a nurse in the Acute Care Ward of the Royal Hospital for Women, during which time she completed a Graduate Certificate in Acute Care Nursing. Jess subsequently trained as a midwife at the Royal where she then worked in Midwifery Group Practice. She is a passionate believer in continuity of care and a woman's right to informed and autonomous decision making throughout their pregnancy and birthing journey. She has a long-standing working relationship with Dr Knapman and, as the name might suggest, has unlimited access to his undivided attention.
